The Neuenhauser star screen is the ideal solution for the screening of wastes, recyclable materials and biomass.
The Neuenhauser star screens are available in mobile or tracked format which all offer the ability to process in 2 or 3 products.
The generously sized hopper is fi lled with the screening material to be processed by the charging device. From here, the screening material is evenly transported to the screen deck by a nearly maintenance-free hopper conveyor belt. Whilst on the star deck the material is being agitated by the rotating of the stars. This causes the ner fraction to pass through the stars and the oversize is carried forward to the end of star deck.
The screenbox sits at an incline angle of 15° which extends the screening duration and ensures very clean separation of the materials.
Advantages overview:
- quickly replaceable screen decks
- modular design
- high throughput
- very easy to maintain
- short set-up times
- large material piles from long discharge belts
- low fuel consumption
- simple star speed control at the screen deck, to change particle size in seconds
- easy to operate
- up to 4 fractions with tipping-/ vibrating grid or wind shifter
- engine management system
